Summary Statements - 9 of X - Moving earth/Big Bang not proven

  1. There is no confirmation that the earth is not the center of our solar system, or the universe. What we have been taught since childhood concerning the so-called (scientific) “fact” of the earth rotating around the sun is simply one theory. Other, equally valid, and perhaps better, theories exist for the earth being the center of the universe – and these theories are consistent with the apparent reading of the Bible (but you have never been exposed to them in the public (and private) school systems)!

  2. Similarly, there is no confirmation that the Big Bang occurred billions of years ago. Big Bang theories are historical science (to be discussed later) and are based on untestable (& atheistic) assumptions which cannot be proven. What we have been taught since childhood concerning the so-called “fact” of the Big Bang (theory), and the associated theory of the origin of all life on earth (evolution) are simply atheistic origins stories. There are alternate scientific theories which are compatible with the 6-day creation story of the Bible.
